Practice track: you will hear:
- 8 beats of the kick drum, followed by
- 7 beats of the percussion pattern.
Immediately after the seventh beat the wood block begins to play the rhythm of the words.
Have the children practice counting the beats with you and give a signal when the percussion pattern begins.

Performance Track: same as the Practice Track minus the wood block.
