are performed at age-appropriate tempos
have singing ranges suitable for young voices
are designed specifically to familiarize children with foundational elements
of Western tonal language.

Tired of hearing new lyrics piggybacked on tunes such as “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” or “Frθre Jacques”? Then you’ve come to the right place: here you will find a collection of nine original songs with easy-to-learn, catchy melodies and age-appropriate lyrics illustrating essential personal goals.
In writing the songs I was led above all by what actually appeals to children (rather than to adults’ tastes). When I hear students sing on the playground a song from music class I know I have hit the right note.
